Minnehaha Liquors (Minneapolis, MN). This liquor store has been around since the 1920s, but not always at its current location. Back in the 1940s a local diner called the Kennel Cafe sat on this site.

Val’s Rapid Serv (St. Cloud, MN). This tiny hole-in-the-wall burger joint is perhaps best known for their enormous servings of fries. The whole bag they hand you will be completely filled to the top with them, covering up the rest of your order which sits at the bottom of the bag.
